wowza its been awhile!! :)

sorry for the lack of posts but ive been so snowed under lately with wedding prep and trips out of town. im sure u will forgive me :D

my gorgeous friend star and her hubby rob are expecting their firstborn in 3 weeks - so i did a very quick few snaps the other day at the back of my house. here are my favs:









last week i finished up on the crafting in style design team. i taught my last class and it was wonderful to have some of my fav ppl there participating in my last class there :) thanks ladies it meant alot :D everyone did such beautiful layouts! here is what we created:





and cos its been awhile since i posted, here are some other layouts ive done "just for fun". ive been doing so many DT projects lately it was great to do something just for nothing :)

In my hot little hands ...

I have my own copies of my new Scrapware stuff - Karen Day Designs. woooooooooooohooooooo!!!

im so busy today with housework but im just gonna HAVE to take a break to scrap something with them :) its liam's dedication on sunday so my parents plus the inlaws are staying at my house. its going to be CHAOS!!!! so im trying to de-stress by doing housework and cooking. i always feel better when the house is spotless. so im doing all the odd-jobs that arent everyday type of jobs. last night i was up till after 11pm cooking this massive white chocolate fudge mud cake that will feed 80 - 100 people. its HUGE!!!

DT updates

I have some projects to share :) I went away last week but in the four weeks before I went out of town I did something like 14 projects for the various DTs Im on - which is why Ive been a bit quiet lately! there hasnt really been much to share that I was allowed to! haha. But now I can share a few layouts :)


Scrapware February Projects:
I had so much fun digging into my first kit from Scrapware. The yellow layout is my current fav layout. I adore having a different colour to look at for a change! haha. It's since been commissioned by Scrapbooking Creations.

Scrapbook'n'bits Upcoming Class - inspired by Autumn:

I have a class coming up at Scrapbook'n'bits and I have to say - this kit is just delicious!!! its so autumny and warm. Perfect to help welcome in autumn

The kit is enough for 2 layouts and 3 cards - with plenty of stuff left over .... especially flowers. oh my goodness there are so many wonderful flowers of all sizes!!!! During the class we will be doing two layouts that explore painting techniques, and you will also be provided with instructions to do three simple cards as well.

Scrapware "Karen Day Designs"

I am soooo excited to be bringing you my first range of chipboard embellishments!!! I have started some work for Scrapware Australia as a product designer and my first range are due to hit the stores soon!! The Design Team for Scrapware are busy designing with the product - along some other really exciting new releases from Scrapware and I have to tell you, this latest stuff from Scrapware sounds so original I cant wait to recieve my pack in the next couple of days so I can have a closer look!!!

No sneak peaks at the product yet - but the theme of my first range is Nature - so you will be able to play with all sorts of nature themed chipboard shapes. However in the future my designs may branch into wood or acrylic as well. So keep an eye out for those too!!
